Problem
Existing crypto tax tools had confusing wallet connection flows, no trust signals, and required manual transaction classification. Users dropped off early.
Role
Owned the full redesign — user research, UI design, 120+ component design system, and direct contribution to the React implementation.
Challenges
Multiple blockchain wallet APIs with different capabilities, 12-week timeline, and users who needed to trust the app with sensitive financial data.
Approach
10+ user interviews and competitor audits revealed four core problems.

Too much data, no hierarchy.
